The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt, London
Client: The Elephant Family and Action for Children charities
Brief: Having taken part in Elephant Parade, London and Jungle City,
Edinburgh, I was invited to take part in this wonderful event,
which raised over £2 million for Elephant Family and Action for
Over 200 giant eggs – all made by designers, artists, architects and
jewelers – were scattered throughout London as part of a
massive egg hunt. The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt is a charity initiative in
which Londoners and tourists were invited to find the eggs around the
city before they are auctioned in a charity fundraiser. The event
broke the Guiness World Record for the most
participants in an Easter egg hunt. In the competition.

As an egg represents new life, so does spring. Celebrating this I
painted the egg with spring flowers, birds, insects and bees going
about their daily business.
